On April 4, Pham Quang Linh (Quang Linh Vlogs) and Nguyen Thi Thai Hang (Hang Du Muc) were prosecuted and temporarily detained by the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency in connection with the livestream promoting Kera vegetable candy products of Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company (CER Group).

The case is still under investigation, but in recent days, public opinion has been abuzz with information about the LoiNest bird's nest product, which Quang Linh Vlogs and Hang Du Muc have been advertising heavily on TikTok.

The box of this product clearly states that the distributor and packer is Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company, address 144-146-148, Street 11, Ward 5 (An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City). CER Group was founded by Hang Du Muc, Quang Linh Vlogs and some others.

On April 12, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Nguyen Quang Duy - director of DT Food Joint Stock Company - confirmed that his company is the manufacturer of LoiNest bird's nest products.

However, Mr. Duy affirmed that his company did not sell directly to CER Group, but sold this bird's nest product to LoiNest Trading and Service Company Limited, then this company sold the above product to CER Group.

According to Mr. Duy, the above bird's nest product is produced according to the formula provided by LoiNest Trading and Service Company Limited. The production of bird's nest products is carried out at the company's factory in Dac Loc Industrial Park.

All production standards of LoiNest bird's nest products are in accordance with regulations, and all input materials have clear origins.

"Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company buys products from LoiNest Company to sell, we are just a processing unit, producing finished bird's nest products" - Mr. Duy said.

According to Mr. Duy, the packaging of LoiNest bird's nest products was wrongly stated, in which the distribution unit was LoiNest Trading and Service Company Limited, not Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company.

Previously, Mr. Duy also appeared in a livestream session of Hang Du Muc and Quang Linh Vlogs about advertising and selling LoiNest bird's nest products.

In this livestream, Hang Du Muc said: "If anyone comments that the bird's nest is fake, please buy a box of bird's nest for Hang to test, Hang will pay the testing fee, if the bird's nest is found to be fake, I will pay 1,000 times the compensation...".

Regarding this, Mr. Duy said that his appearance in the above livestream session was because he wanted to mention the value of marine agriculture, bird's nest products combined with seaweed as a producer.

"If the fake bird's nest has to pay 1,000 times, that's what Hang said, not what I said, I'm not involved" - Mr. Duy said.

Mr. Duy also said that the company has stopped producing bird's nest products for LoiNest Company.

When Tuoi Tre Online asked about the "origin" of LoiNest Trading and Service Company Limited, Mr. Duy provided the principle contract for the purchase and sale of goods between the two companies.

In the form of cooperation, Party B (DT Food Company Limited - PV) agrees to exclusively produce and sell bird's nest products to Party A (LoiNest Trading and Service Company Limited) with Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha Anh as director.

On the tax code lookup website, the information related to LoiNest Trading and Service Company Limited matches the information signed in the above contract.

However, when we contacted the public phone number of LoiNest Trading and Service Company Limited, a woman picked up the phone and said she had no connection to any company.

Hang Du Muc once apologized for confusing information about LoiNest bird's nest.

Previously, in a livestream session to sell products on TikTok, Hang Du Muc held a 70ml jar of LoiNest bird's nest and said it contained up to 30g of fresh bird's nest.

After that, some people went online to prove that a jar of bird's nest with the above capacity can usually only hold 10g of fresh bird's nest that has been steamed and expanded evenly. If you put up to 30g of fresh bird's nest, it will not be cooked and will not absorb water - you can steam it in a large bowl to enjoy.

In response to this reaction, in order to ensure industry transparency, protect consumer rights and help businesses maintain product quality standards, the leaders of the Vietnam Bird's Nest Association worked directly with Hang Du Muc.

Accordingly, Hang Du Muc said there was a mistake, then explained that: During the livestream sales process, she asked her team to convert the parameter of 300mg of bird's nest content, and was informed to 30g of A5 bird's nest for production. Because she did not react in time and said the same thing, it led to the mistake.
