Ea Kenh Commune, Krong Pac District: 8 households registered for early handover of land for Khanh Hoa

On the afternoon of May 25, at the hall of the People's Committee of Ea Kenh commune, the People's Committee of Krong Pac district held a conference to publicize the Draft compensation plan for resettlement support for the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project (section through Ea Kenh commune).

The draft detailed plan was prepared for 113 households in Thanh Xuan and Thanh Binh villages with a total recovered land area of over 164,000 ^m2 . The total cost of compensation and support for land and assets on land according to the draft plan is nearly 56 billion VND. In addition, in Ea Kenh commune, there are 3 households with land within the project scope. The authorities are carrying out additional procedures to the compensation and resettlement support plan when the State recovers land.

Vice Chairwoman of Krong Pac District People's Committee Ngo Thi Minh Trinh informed about policies to encourage people to hand over land early to implement the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project.

At the conference, people actively studied and asked questions related to the contents of the draft plan. In addition, some households also expressed concerns about harvesting agricultural products on the land area within the project scope; recommendations on data on counting crops and architectural objects on the land; costs for supporting training, career conversion and job search when the State reclaims land, etc.

The opinions of the people were specifically recorded by the authorities of Krong Pac district and directly answered at the conference. The recommendations related to the inventory data and detailed support amounts will be checked and adjusted to ensure proper and adequate compensation for the people's assets.

The majority of people present at the conference agreed with the draft plan. Among them, 8 households volunteered to hand over the land early so that the project could be quickly implemented. Households who register to hand over the land early will enjoy the bonus policy according to current regulations with a maximum bonus of 3 million VND/case.
