According to the Emulation Cluster of the Central Highlands and Central Coast provinces, in the first 6 months of 2024, works under national key projects in the provinces in the Emulation Cluster have coordinated to implement the Cam Lam - Nha Trang expressway to put into toll collection; inaugurated the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway; the Nha Trang - Van Phong expressway is expected to finish ahead of schedule; the Chi Thanh - Van Phong, Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh, Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon, Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressways have many items ahead of schedule; the Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway is determined to start construction in December 2024.
The National Highway 19 upgrade project to enhance traffic connectivity in the Central Highlands region has had many solutions to overcome difficulties in organizing construction.
Currently, localities in the Emulation Cluster of the Central Highlands and Central Coast provinces continue to promote the implementation of tasks and solutions to strongly develop the coastal urban system, promote investment in regional economic and social infrastructure, especially important transport infrastructure and unique tourism.
In particular, the Party Committees and authorities of the provinces have also directed the disbursement of public investment capital, focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles to speed up the progress of key projects, especially transport infrastructure projects, inter-regional and coastal highways (Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot highway, Dau Giay - Lien Khuong highway, Ho Chi Minh road project, Buon Ma Thuot city bypass section, Truong Son East road project, North - South highway in the East and Van Phong - Nha Trang section, Da Nang - Thanh My - Ngoc Hoi - Bo Y highway...).
In the first 6 months of 2024, the implementation of key projects and works in the provinces has had many positive changes, basically being implemented according to the set plan.
The emulation cluster of the Central Highlands and Central Coast provinces includes 10 provinces (Lam Dong, Phu Yen, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa), currently headed by Mr. Vo Ngoc Hiep, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee.
