The arrested suspect said he carried out the attack at Crocus City Hall after talking to the "missionary's assistant". The suspect said he opened fire on the crowd to kill people for money. According to the suspect, a month ago, he contacted via Telegram and was provided with weapons. The suspect confessed that the operator assigned him the task of killing everyone in the auditorium and was promised 1 million rubles (nearly 11,000 USD). The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, located in the Crocus City shopping and performing arts center on the MKAD ring road between Moscow and Moscow region, left hundreds of people dead and injured.
