VPI launches book on Power BI Service and AutoML applications in the oil and gas sector

On that basis, VPI has been building a Digital/Physical Product Innovation Platform Group and a Digital/Physical Product Innovation Group in key technology areas: advanced exploration technology; potential and reserves; support for management and exploitation optimization; efficient energy use; carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS); green hydrogen/ammonia, etc.

In particular, VPI is building the “Vietnam Petroleum Insights Knowledge Sharing and Management System” (VPInsights) with the aim of meeting the needs of searching, researching and sharing insights on oil and gas. The system ensures the provision of complete, accurate and timely information with a user-friendly interface that helps to quickly ask questions, access and analyze information. This system is built on the latest advanced platform of artificial intelligence (AI) in the world such as: large language model (LLM), Generative AI to synthesize the knowledge and experience of the team of experts in the Vietnam Oil and Gas industry over the past 60 years, along with a large amount of industry data.

VPInsights will help VPI/Petrovietnam experts as well as domestic and foreign partners access and use digital products, collaborate, and contribute to the common ecosystem of oil and gas knowledge - supporting situation forecasting and planning timely and effective solutions in the context of the constantly changing world energy industry.
