Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange has just announced information related to stock transactions of people related to internal shareholders of Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB - HoSE: OCB).
Specifically, Ms. Nguyen Viet Trieu, wife of Mr. Ngo Ha Bac - a member of the Board of Directors of OCB, registered to sell 500,000 OCB shares to serve personal financial needs.
The transaction will be conducted from November 16, 2023 to December 15, 2023 by negotiation or order matching through the floor. The expected transaction value calculated at par value is 5 billion VND.
If the transaction is successful, Ms. Trieu will reduce her ownership of OCB shares to 3.49 million shares, equivalent to 0.255%. Meanwhile, Mr. Ngo Ha Bac is holding 8.584 million shares of this bank, equivalent to 0.627% of charter capital.

This is the fourth time this year that Ms. Trieu has registered to sell shares at OCB. Specifically, in early 2023, Ms. Trieu registered to sell 1 million OCB shares. However, she was only able to sell half of the shares because the price did not meet expectations.
In April 2023, Ms. Trieu continued to register to sell 500,000 OCB shares and was only able to sell 205,000 shares for the same reason.
Most recently, from June 9 to July 8, 2023, Ms. Trieu also sold 495,000 shares out of a total of 500,000 shares registered for trading due to the market price not being as expected.
Thus, in the previous times, Ms. Trieu had never been able to sell all the shares registered for trading.
On the stock market, at the end of the trading session on November 14, OCB shares stopped at 13,900 VND/share, up 1.09% with trading liquidity of nearly 6.3 million units .
