On this occasion, the hospital presented 77 IVF support packages to families.

Sharing about male infertility, doctors from the Hanoi Andrology and Infertility Hospital said that there are two types of infertility: primary infertility and secondary infertility. With secondary male infertility, a couple may have successfully conceived and given birth to a baby, but over time, many factors affect the male and he becomes infertile. The couple cannot have more children.

Some causes of secondary male infertility include: working environment with frequent exposure to toxic chemicals; habit of using alcohol, tobacco, stimulants; unreasonable diet or prolonged stress, fatigue... which reduce the quality and quantity of sperm, significantly affecting the fertility of men. In addition, azoospermia (no sperm in semen) is also a cause of secondary infertility in men.

In addition, cases of azoospermia caused by mumps causing testicular atrophy, testicular failure, endocrine disorders, varicocele... also affect men's reproductive health. Therefore, even when men are married and have children, regular infertility examinations are essential to promptly detect and treat male diseases early, not only to prevent secondary infertility but also to improve the sexual life of couples.
