The ceremony was attended by more than 1,000 guests and delegates, including Mr. Ta Ngoc Tri - Deputy Director of the Department of Primary Education, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huu - Head of the National Foreign Language Project, Mr. Chu Tien Dat - Head of the Board of Members of VTC Corporation, representatives of the Departments of Education and Training of provinces/cities and teachers and all the award-winning students.

Opening the ceremony, Mr. Le Viet Hoa - Director of VTC Online, and Head of the Organizing Committee of the IOE contest, delivered a welcome speech to the distinguished guests and all the students present at the program.
Sharing in the speech, the Head of the Organizing Committee emphasized the operational goal of IOE: " To encourage the movement of teaching and learning English, create motivation and learning habits, and nurture a love of English for students ".

After 13 years of development, IOE has become a trusted address for learning and practicing English for more than 30 million students nationwide. IOE has created a healthy playground, promoting students' motivation to learn English, while developing the English learning movement of schools, creating a spread in the community of students and teachers nationwide.
In the 2022-2023 school year, IOE continues to invest heavily in content, upgrade and optimize technical infrastructure to provide a comprehensive product that meets the learning needs of students, as well as the requirements for testing and evaluating students on a large scale of educational institutions across the country.
Completing 4 official rounds, the IOE competition for the 2022-2023 school year recorded more than 1.4 million students participating in the official rounds from more than 10,000 participating schools in most provinces and cities across the country.
Of which, the national IOE exam on April 7, 2023 was held for grades 4, 5, 8, 9 and 11, attracting 74,632 students from 61 provinces/cities from 508 districts/counties of 5,718 schools nationwide to participate and complete the exam.
At the award ceremony on the morning of May 20, the contest's Organizing Committee awarded Certificates and Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals to the winning contestants.
