VinFast sets record of delivering more than 20,000 electric cars in December 2024

(Dan Tri) - VinFast announced that it delivered more than 20,000 cars in December 2024 in the Vietnamese market, bringing the total number of cars delivered for the whole year in Vietnam alone to more than 87,000 cars.

With an outstanding record, VinFast exceeded its sales target, firmly consolidating its position as the leading car manufacturer in Vietnam.

VinFast has a diverse product range, covering all automobile segments.

The number of VinFast cars delivered to customers in December 2024 surpassed all sales records ever set, even higher than the total number of cars sold by many other car manufacturers in the entire year in the Vietnamese market.

The above results were achieved thanks to the steady sales growth of most models. In particular, VF 5 is the best-selling model in the product range, and is also the top-selling model in the domestic market in 2024.

Specifically, in December 2024, VinFast delivered more than 4,900 VF 5 cars, with a total of more than 32,000 cars delivered for the year. Right after VF 5 is VF 3 with a delivery volume of more than 8,800 cars in December 2024, a cumulative total of more than 25,000 cars within 5 months. In addition, in December, the VF 6 car line also recorded strong sales growth, reaching more than 2,700 cars.

By the end of 2024, VinFast had sold a total of more than 87,000 electric cars of all types in the Vietnamese market alone, far exceeding the global vehicle delivery target, creating strong momentum and a solid launch pad for the company to continue to make breakthroughs in 2025.

VF 3 is the best-selling car model in Vietnam.
