Returning to Viettel FC with the familiar number 37 shirt, Bruno is considered a necessary addition to the attacking front of the army team.

Having played for 3 clubs in the V-League, Bruno will not take much time to integrate with his teammates when returning to Viettel.
Coach Thach Bao Khanh also quickly built tactical plans to promote Bruno's goal-scoring strength, especially when playing with the best quality midfielders in the V-League today such as Hoang Duc, Duc Chien or Jaha.
Bruno left Vietnam to play football in Indonesia and Qatar before returning in early 2023.
Explaining this decision, Bruno said he loves everything about Vietnam and feels like this is his second home.
"I am very happy to be back playing for Viettel, I love Viettel very much," Bruno shared.
Unlike three years ago, Bruno also felt clear changes from his teammates at Viettel: "Currently, I see that Viettel players have accumulated a lot of experience and are stronger after many matches. The quality of the squad at the present time is also better."
Bruno Cantanhede started his professional football career at Sao Paulo Club (Brazil) in 2011.
The player born in 1993 joined the first team of Sau Paulo in 2011 and spent time as teammates with Rivaldo - a former Brazilian football star, as well as playing with midfielder Casemiro, who is currently playing for Manchester United.
Bruno played for several teams in Brazil, Portugal and South Korea before coming to Vietnam in 2019 to play for Viettel Club.
In his first season, Bruno scored 15 goals in 14 appearances, winning the title of top scorer of V-League 2019.
The Brazilian player continued to score 8 goals, playing 19/20 matches to help Viettel Club win the 2020 V-League championship.
Bruno then moved to play for Hanoi Club (V-League 2021) and Dong A Thanh Hoa (V-League 2023).
Bruno scored 14 goals in V-League when playing for the two above clubs (3 goals for Hanoi, 11 goals for Dong A Thanh Hoa).
Thus, Bruno has scored 39 goals in 61 matches during his time playing in the V-League.
