Turmoil at MU's top level
Manchester United's board are currently facing criticism and pressure after a series of failures this season. Despite plans to sack Erik ten Hag after last season's FA Cup final, the decision to extend the Dutchman's contract and then sack him after just nine games has left things in disarray.

This was compounded by the fact that Ten Hag’s coaching staff had also been axed, and the exorbitant compensation payments had cost the club around £15m. The replacement of Ruben Amorim cost another £10m. All of this has led to a spiral of blame within United, with no one taking responsibility for the failure of the summer’s squad restructuring plan.
System errors and failed deals
Not only having problems changing coaches, MU also has great difficulties in transfer deals. New recruits such as Joshua Zirkzee (36.5 million pounds) or Matthijs de Ligt (38.5 million pounds) have not been able to meet expectations at Old Trafford. Zirkzee is even considered "redundant" and may have to leave on loan in the winter transfer window.
These mistakes are pushing MU into a difficult situation, when the team not only costs millions of pounds but also loses stability in the coaching bench.
Pressure on Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the board
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his new management team are under enormous pressure to make the right decisions, not only in the transfer market but also in restructuring the entire club. Otherwise, United risk falling into a spiral of crisis, when every mistake is paid for with expensive expenses and a decline in performance.
In the current context, Manchester United needs strong leadership to get out of the crisis and rebuild a stronger, more stable team in the future.
