Viettel provides high-tech equipment to Philippine police

TPO - Viettel will provide a shooting training simulation system with ContactPoint, Inc. of the Philippines to transfer to the Philippine police force. The contract is worth nearly 2 million USD.

Today (August 29) in Manila, Philippines, Viettel High Tech Industry Company - Vietnam (Viettel High Tech) signed a contract to supply a Shooting Training Simulation System with ContactPoint, Inc. of the Philippines.

This is Viettel's second contract in just six months in this market, with a total value of nearly 2 million USD.

Since March 2024, Viettel has signed the first contract with a commitment to deploy shooting simulation systems designed specifically for the characteristics of the Philippine National Police.

Viettel signed a contract to export shooting simulation systems to the Philippines today (August 29).

The system, whose core technology is mastered by Viettel and is highly customizable, has been supplemented with more than 90% new features according to customer training requirements. In particular, Viettel has developed a recoil generator in the simulation system, supporting specific guns such as Glock, Taurus and M16 Rifle, and developed a new shooting training software module... to help improve the quality of training and combat preparation.

With the advantage of completely mastering core technology, the product not only integrates advanced features but also optimizes the system according to the customer's specific needs, something that international competitors can hardly do. Viettel's simulation system has gone through a rigorous testing process, ensuring high durability and effective use in all conditions.

Mr. Radel Ramos, Director of Training - Philippine National Police shared that Viettel not only brings advanced technology solutions but also helps our force improve training capacity significantly, in accordance with the practical conditions of the Philippines.

Mr. Cesar Jr. Manuel, CEO of ContactPoint, commented that Viettel's prices are competitive compared to other suppliers, creating a significant advantage.

Recently, Viettel has made great strides in researching and exporting high-tech products under the brand "Make in Vietnam", affirming Vietnam's competitive position in the international market.
