The system, mastered by Viettel's team of experts, has core pilot training simulation technology and is being transferred to the Indonesian military.
Within the framework of the 2023 Defense & Security Exhibition (Defense & Security 2023) in Thailand on November 7, Viettel High Tech and PT. Bandara Praniagatama (Indonesia) signed a cooperation agreement to distribute Vietnam's flight crew and cockpit simulation systems in Indonesia for 2 years. PT. Bandara Praniagatama is a leading pilot training company in Indonesia and has been appointed by the country's military to seek opportunities for cooperation and training of the air force. According to the signing agreement, the company will distribute Viettel High Tech's flight crew and cockpit simulation systems in Indonesia.

The flight training simulation system is designed and built with flight models, displayed on the screen in many weather and terrain conditions from simple to complex, helping pilots practice 24/7.
Compared to training on real aircraft systems, this system reduces costs by hundreds of times and reduces the number of operators by dozens of times. The flight training simulation system is built to ensure technical factors for pilots, especially simulating real bombs and ammunition. In addition, the system also trains pilots to skillfully handle uncertainties that may occur during flight - things that cannot be done in reality due to flight safety issues. During practice, pilots can connect to the flight command training simulation system. This helps train both air and ground forces including flight commanders and navigators at the same time for a scenario.
Mr. Nguyen Vu Ha, General Director of Viettel High Tech, said that because of mastering the core technology in the country, the system is ready to change and respond to any request from the user as quickly as possible without depending on partners. This helps the air force train continuously, ensures the safety of pilots, and improves the combat readiness of the Indonesian army.
The cooperation with Indonesia is considered a big step forward in developing the export market for Vietnam's military's flight simulator products, expected to bring in tens of millions of USD in revenue.
