At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong welcomed Ms. Sapna Chadha and the delegation to Vietnam. The Deputy Minister said that Google is currently one of the most valuable corporations in the world. In recent times, Google has successfully operated in Vietnam with many products that have become popular and familiar to consumers.
At the same time, Google has also implemented many initiatives and programs to promote Vietnamese culture and tourism to international friends. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism would like to express its gratitude to Google for accompanying them in recent promotional campaigns. On this occasion, the Deputy Minister hopes that the cooperation between Google and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will become increasingly closer and more effective in the coming period.

Ms. Sapna Chadha affirmed that with its strengths, Google is ready to continue to accompany Vietnam in promoting culture, tourism as well as preserving and promoting the values of Vietnam's cultural heritage. Google also committed to increasing its presence in the Vietnamese market, continuing to contribute to the development of Vietnam's culture, sports and tourism.
Also at the meeting, Ms. Sapna Chadha informed about the Google Arts & Culture (GAC) platform. Accordingly, GAC is an online platform that introduces high-resolution images and videos of works of art and cultural artifacts from around the world. This is a non-profit initiative developed and launched by the Google Cultural Institute, a part of Google Corporation, in February 2011.
Overview of the reception
GAC’s mission is to preserve and bring the world’s arts and culture to the internet; so that everyone, everywhere can access and access them. In particular, Vibrant Vietnam - A picture of people, culture and biodiversity is a project independently implemented by GAC, focusing on contents such as cultural diversity, ethnic minority communities and the connection of human life with natural conditions.
The project was officially released online on the GAC platform on July 10, at https://artsandculture.google.com/project/vibrant-vietnam-people-places-nature.
With the launch of the project, Ms. Sapna Chadha hopes that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Google can study and sign a cooperation agreement on introducing Vietnam's world heritage on the GAC platform and the above project. The promotion of Vietnam's world heritage on Google's platforms will contribute to affirming Vietnam's efforts in preserving and promoting the values of heritage; enhancing the promotion of the image and destinations of Vietnam tourism to international friends.

Regarding advertising, Ms. Sapna Chadha said that Google's advertising services are always innovative, encouraging growth while still ensuring a clean advertising environment and maximum protection for users. Google is committed to complying with all advertising laws in Vietnam and is ready to cooperate to handle requests from Vietnam.
Appreciating Google's initiatives in supporting Vietnam in promoting culture and tourism, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong emphasized that this working session will contribute to enhancing the cooperative relationship between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Google Group, as well as suggesting many solutions to enhance the promotion of Vietnamese culture and tourism on the group's platforms.

Regarding the cooperation direction between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Google, including the agreement on introducing Vietnam's world heritage on the GAC platform, the Deputy Minister informed that based on the opinion of the Department of Cultural Heritage, the Department of International Cooperation has submitted to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism the selection of two natural heritages of Vietnam recognized by UNESCO to pilot the project, namely Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago and Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex. The Deputy Minister requested the Department of International Cooperation to coordinate with the Department of Cultural Heritage to immediately deploy tasks so that the introduction of images of the two heritages on the GAC platform will be completed soon.
Agreeing on the need to sign a service agreement and store content promoting Vietnamese cultural heritage on digital platforms, the Deputy Minister requested relevant units of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to speed up the progress to submit to the Ministry's leaders for consideration and signing of the agreement with Google. In addition, the Deputy Minister added that Vietnam is building a digital database of Vietnamese cultural heritage and is ready to share information and coordinate with Google to continue to effectively promote the values of Vietnamese cultural heritage.
In addition, the Deputy Minister also hopes that Google will continue to support programs and projects to promote, preserve and maintain Vietnam's traditional culture; help Vietnam train human resources in the fields of digital content, digital transformation, multimedia communications on culture, sports and tourism.../.
