(Dan Tri) - Marcus Rashford has successfully defected from Man Utd to join Aston Villa on loan. However, Garnacho is still staying at Old Trafford, despite the news that he will leave the club.
In the 2025 winter transfer window, Man Utd let three players Marcus Rashford, Antony and Tyrell Malacia leave on loan. Garnacho was also linked with a move away from Man Utd after receiving interest from Napoli and Chelsea.

Napoli are the team most interested in the Argentine star. They want to recruit Garnacho to fill the gap left by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who moved to PSG for 70 million euros.
However, Napoli failed to reach an agreement with Man Utd. Speaking to the press, Napoli director Giovanni Manna said: "We have sent an offer to Man Utd about the Garnacho deal. Napoli really wants to have this player's signature.
However, we could not reach an agreement with Man Utd on this deal. He asked for a very high salary to leave in January. We need to respect our players."
Garnacho's current salary at Man Utd is only around £50,000 a week, which is not too much for Napoli to pay. However, this player asked for a higher salary when joining the Italian team, especially when he moved to replace Napoli's number 1 star, Kvaratskhelia.
Manager Ruben Amorim was delighted that Garnacho could not move to Napoli. He had expressed hope that the player would stay to compete for a place at Man Utd. The Portuguese coach said: "Garnacho changed a lot after the match against Man City. He understood the problem and realized that I just wanted to help him. I just wanted the team to win."
