VCCA introduces 'Gardeners' exhibition in Hanoi

Many art lovers attended the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition.

The exhibition was inspired by the poetry collection The Gardeners by poet Rabindranath Tagore, displaying nearly 100 works by 90 talented young Vietnamese artists in diverse forms from painting, graphics, sculpture to installation and multimedia art.

The authors received Awards from the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and the Organizing Committee.

The Gardeners - The Gardeners is an original poem collection by Rabindranath Tagore, the first Asian poet to win the Nobel Prize for Literature. Tagore's poetic, philosophical and life-loving works inspire the latest works of young authors.

The journey of exploring, creating and working in art is sometimes very close to the working process of gardeners, both requiring patience, calmness and a peaceful attitude in harmony with the flows of nature and the earth. Viewers will also be impressed by the constant changes and generational successions that become visible in “Continuation” by Manh Tran and “Flow” by Nguyen Dang Tuan. Or the contemplation of profound metaphors such as “Before, during, after and forever” by Cao Thuc, “Reincarnation” by Nguyen Phuong Thao, “Inside - outside” by Nguyen Hoang Dung… also become attractive points for viewers.

The exhibition “The Gardeners” opens a playground where each individual artist will contribute to expressing themselves, facing the simple realities of everyday life and working creatively to find good values ​​in the simplest things.
