(NLDO) – Gold prices today continue to increase in the international and domestic markets, SJC gold bars and gold rings have reached new records.
On the morning of March 17, the price of SJC gold bars continued to increase by SJC, DOJI, and PNJ companies to 94.8 million VND/tael for buying and 96.1 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 300,000 VND per tael compared to the weekend.
Also for 24K gold bars, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company listed the price of Rong Thang Long gold at 95.2 million VND/tael for buying and 96.8 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 200,000 VND compared to the weekend and 700,000 VND/tael higher than SJC gold bars. This is also a record price for gold bars up to this point.
Not only gold bars, the price of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold of all kinds also remained at historical peaks. The price of 99.99 plain gold rings was bought by SJC Company at 94.7 million VND/tael, sold at 96 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael compared to the end of the week.
PNJ Company sells gold rings for up to 96.5 million VND; Bao Tin Minh Chau for up to 96.8 million VND/tael, much higher than the price of SJC gold bars.
Gold price today hits new peak
In the international market, after a downward adjustment last weekend, today's gold price increased again by 4 USD, to 2,989 USD/ounce.
Last week, gold prices hit a new peak of $3,004 per ounce, the level predicted by domestic and international analysts at the beginning of the year.
Since the beginning of the year, domestic and international gold prices have increased by about 13%. Despite the continuous increase in gold prices, investors and analysts continue to maintain optimism about the gold price trend in the coming days.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 92.6 million VND/tael.
