The National Assembly Standing Committee is about to question two ministers.

Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee decides on 2 groups of questions and respondents. Specifically:

The first group of issues is the area of responsibility of the Ministry of Justice. The responsibility to respond lies with Minister Le Thanh Long.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang; Ministers of Finance, Natural Resources and Environment, Health, and Public Security; Government Inspector General; Minister and Head of the Government Office; Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; and Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.

The content of the questions answered in this group includes the implementation of the law and ordinance building program; solutions to ensure progress, quality and procedures of projects and drafts submitted by the Government to the National Assembly.

Solutions to improve the quality of the legal system, solutions to control power, prevent corruption and negativity in law-making work are the responsibility of the Government.

Current status and solutions to improve capacity, effectiveness and efficiency of legal document inspection work.

Solutions to overcome the situation of slow promulgation, overlapping and contradictory content, and limitations and violations in promulgating documents detailing laws, resolutions of the National Assembly, ordinances and resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

Current situation and solutions to overcome limitations and shortcomings, improve the effectiveness of asset auction and judicial appraisal.

The second group of issues is the area of responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The main responsibility to answer is Minister Le Minh Hoan.

"Sharing the fire" with Mr. Hoan were Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang; the ministers of Finance, Industry and Trade, Natural Resources and Environment, Science and Technology, Information and Communications, and Foreign Affairs.

The response includes solutions to remove difficulties for agricultural exports (narrowing output markets, many businesses have no orders, prices of some key agricultural products have dropped, income and life of farmers are affected...).

Exploitation, protection and development of aquatic resources; solutions to remove the European Commission's (EC) "yellow card" for aquatic products.

Conversion of land use purposes, recovery of rice-growing land area, ensuring food security and rice export.

The question and answer session is scheduled to take place in one day (August 15), held at the National Assembly building and broadcast live to 62 National Assembly delegations in provinces and cities.

According to the program, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue will deliver the opening and closing speeches for the entire question and answer session.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh chaired the question-and-answer session with a group of issues under the responsibility of the Ministry of Justice in the morning.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai chaired the question-and-answer session with a group of issues under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the afternoon of the same day.

Questioning and answering questions are conducted by groups of issues. The person answering the question does not present a report, but can speak on the issue of questioning no more than 5 minutes before the National Assembly representative begins questioning.

Each turn has 3 - 5 delegates asking questions, each delegate's question lasts no more than 1 minute, the person being questioned answers for no more than 3 minutes/question content.

During the questioning process, National Assembly deputies have the right to debate with the person answering the question to clarify issues that have been answered but are not satisfactory. The time for the deputies to debate is not more than 2 minutes.

At the end of the questioning session, the National Assembly Standing Committee issued a resolution as a basis for implementation.
