Applying technology in hotel and restaurant operations

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Do Thi Hong Xoan - Vice President of Vietnam Tourism Association, President of Vietnam Hotel Association - said that Vietnam is considered one of the 10 countries with the most developed tourism industry in the world by the WTO.

Currently, the country has about 38,000 accommodation establishments. Therefore, the need for advanced technology to develop this industry in the integration period is extremely important.

HorecFex Vietnam 2024 attracts the participation of more than 2,000 guests who are entrepreneurs, business leaders, CEOs in the restaurant and hotel industry.

According to Ms. Xoan, HorecFex Vietnam 2024 is the first and largest event on technology in the tourism industry with the expectation of bringing the latest information on the application of innovative technology in the operation of hotels, restaurants and food service establishments.

This event not only helps tourism service businesses develop, but also contributes to improving the overall travel experience of visitors to Vietnam, promoting the sustainable development of Vietnam tourism.

Sharing about choosing Da Nang to organize the event, Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh - Vice President of Vietnam Hotel Association, Founder of HorecFex Vietnam - said that this is the focal point of domestic and international MICE events and is an ideal resort destination for tourists.

Within the framework of the event, there will be an exhibition with nearly 50 booths displaying technology products and tourism service products; a forum with 9 seminars on applying new technology, digital transformation and hotel operations management in the new era.
