Dang Quang Minh (24 years old, from Ben Tre) once interrupted his studies to help with his family's business. However, with a thirst for new knowledge, he was determined to return to school.
Studying English at Ben Tre College, Minh not only focused on lectures but also made an effort to self-study through applications, songs and movies. After graduating from college, Minh "packed up" and went to Ho Chi Minh City to continue his higher education. Currently, Minh is a first-year student majoring in public relations at Gia Dinh University.
Quang Minh always has a positive and proactive attitude in learning.
From a shy high school student who had no foreign language skills; after a long journey of continuous effort; Minh is now increasingly confident in communication and finds meaning in the things he chooses. This young Gen Z understands that learning is a long-term journey and is not limited to textbooks and classrooms. There are many useful and new things in real life and the big world outside waiting to be discovered.
Minh gradually formed the habit of updating current news and social events every day to enrich his knowledge, hone his sharp observation, and have a deeper perspective and feeling on all issues. Instead of being impatient when witnessing his peers entering the labor market and asserting themselves, Minh wanted to truly understand his strengths and weaknesses, equip himself with a foundation of knowledge and soft skills to be ready to seize suitable opportunities in the future.
Minh and his friends had fun memories in their first year of college.
"My mother is the one who has a big influence on my decisions. I am grateful for her trust and support. Good teachers and friends who have always accompanied me also help make my youth more beautiful," Minh confided.
On April 22, Minh and his fellow students in the CORE TEAM will hold their first talk show with the theme "Open your heart - Green passport to travel around the world". This is the first large-scale event for all students of the school, with many prestigious guests.
Although he is busier and more pressured than usual, Minh is extremely happy and excited. He believes that the process of studying and participating in diverse community activities helps young people become more aware of their inner strength, passion and dreams.
