The 2nd Half-marathon "Proud of My Fatherland" - 2025 organized by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper on the occasion of many important historical events such as the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) along with the 50th anniversary of the founding of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper (July 28, 1975 - July 28, 2025).

The race took place on a unique running route in Tan Nhut and Le Minh Xuan communes, Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City. This is a land rich in revolutionary traditions, associated with the resistance war against the French in 1948 and major battles in history. In 2003, Lang Le - Bau Co Relic Site was recognized as a city-level historical relic.

77 years ago, the place name Lang Le - Bau Co entered the heroic history of the Saigon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh army and people's resistance against invaders with the victory of the anti-sweep operation on April 15, 1948. On that day, with steadfastness, creativity and intelligence, the army and people of Trung Huyen fought bravely, tried their best to destroy the enemy, protect the people and the Cho Lon Provincial Party Committee base and the Saigon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh City Administrative Resistance Committee.

On this occasion, the Lao Dong Newspaper coordinated with the People's Committee of Le Minh Xuan Commune (Binh Chanh District) to inaugurate the national flag routes. The program "Proud of the National Flag" launched and implemented by the Lao Dong Newspaper presented Binh Chanh District with 5,000 flags to create "National Flag Routes" in the district. The "National Flag Route" project in Le Minh Xuan Commune stretches across 10 main roads in the locality.

The Lao Dong Newspaper also awarded 45 scholarships to disadvantaged students in Le Minh Xuan Commune. This activity is part of the "Scholarship program to support ethnic minority and poor students" managed and operated by the Lao Dong Newspaper.
