Citizens of 13 countries will have their temporary stay period increased from 15 days to 45 days.
The Government issued Resolution 128/NQ-CP dated August 14, 2023 amending Resolution No. 32/NQ-CP dated March 15, 2022 of the Government on visa exemption for citizens of the following countries: Federal Republic of Germany, French Republic, Italian Republic, Kingdom of Spain, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Russian Federation, Japan, Republic of Korea, Kingdom of Denmark, Kingdom of Sweden, Kingdom of Norway, Republic of Finland and Republic of Belarus.
Accordingly, visa exemption is granted to citizens of the following countries: Federal Republic of Germany, French Republic, Italian Republic, Kingdom of Spain, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Russian Federation, Japan, Republic of Korea, Kingdom of Denmark, Kingdom of Sweden, Kingdom of Norway, Republic of Finland and Republic of Belarus with a temporary stay of 45 days from the date of entry, regardless of passport type or purpose of entry, on the basis of meeting all entry conditions as prescribed by Vietnamese law.
This Resolution comes into force from August 15, 2023.
Previously, in Resolution No. 32/NQ-CP dated March 15, 2022, the Government decided to exempt visas for citizens of the following countries: Federal Republic of Germany, French Republic, Italian Republic, Kingdom of Spain, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Russian Federation, Japan, Republic of Korea, Kingdom of Denmark, Kingdom of Sweden, Kingdom of Norway, Republic of Finland and Republic of Belarus when entering Vietnam with a temporary stay of 15 days from the date of entry, regardless of passport type or purpose of entry, on the basis of meeting all conditions prescribed by Vietnamese law.
