Today (November 16), the Department of Transport of Lam Dong province coordinated with Da Lat City Police to search for the "unlicensed taxi" driver who sprayed pepper spray on two passengers, causing them to be hospitalized.

Earlier, early the same morning, Mr. T. (59 years old, living in Da Lat City) took 2 friends from Hanoi to Da Lat City to visit and then stopped at a restaurant to eat. After that, they got in a taxi with license plate number 61A - 455.41 to return to the hotel on Ngo Thi Sy Street, Ward 4, Da Lat City, to rest.

Upon arrival, the taxi driver and Mr. T. had an argument. Suddenly, the driver sprayed pepper spray in the face of Mr. T. and the passenger in the car. The two were later hospitalized.

The incident was reported to the authorities. Initially, the Lam Dong Department of Transport verified that the car was not licensed to operate as a taxi and was operating illegally.

Police are investigating and working with those involved to find the taxi driver.
