Today, March 1, when the abuse accusation occurred, the authorities inspected the facility at 83 Ton Quang Phiet Street and found that the facility had stopped providing childcare. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hau also could not present any documents related to her previous childcare.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hau is the owner of Cau Vong Special Education Center at 39 Nguyen Sang Street, Man Thai Ward (Son Tra District). This center was recognized by the Director of the Institute of Psychology and Special Education Research on November 23, 2022.
The center's fields of activity are general psychology, specialized psychology, and specialized education for people with disabilities. However, this center has not been operating at 39 Nguyen Sang Street, Man Thai Ward since November 2023.
Meanwhile, from the end of September 2023, the Director of the Institute of Psychology - Special Education Research signed a decision to establish the Institute of Psychology - Special Education, Cau Vong Son Tra Da Nang branch at 83 Ton Quang Phiet Street, An Hai Bac Ward (Son Tra District). The unit also rented a house at 83 Ton Quang Phiet Street from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, the authorized representative is Ms. Nguyen Thi Hau (Branch Director).
On February 17, the People's Committee of An Hai Bac Ward discovered that the Institute of Psychology and Special Education, Cau Vong Son Tra Branch, Da Nang, had erected a signboard at 83 Ton Quang Phiet Street (An Hai Bac Ward), so they requested that the signboard be removed within 2 days and that they provide documents related to licensing as required before operating.

Regarding the content reflecting child abuse at this address, the police are currently investigating and verifying.
Son Tra District People's Committee directed An Hai Bac Ward People's Committee to urgently inspect and verify the admission of children at address 83 Ton Quang Phiet Street, when the facility did not have legal documents as prescribed. Son Tra District People's Committee also requested to strengthen the management of family child care groups in the ward; promptly inspect and handle violations, and prevent similar incidents from happening.
At the same time, coordinate with parents, health agencies and relevant departments to promptly provide medical support and childcare conditions for related cases; review responsibilities in the management of the area where the alleged abuse occurred.
