(Dan Tri) - Regarding the case of 3 teachers accused of abusing preschool children, the leaders of Hoang Mai district, Hanoi said that they had fired 3 teachers and dealt with the educational institution where the incident occurred.

Responding to Dan Tri reporters on the afternoon of March 26, Mr. Vo Xuan Trong, Vice Chairman of Hoang Mai District People's Committee, said that he had forced three preschool teachers who were accused by parents of abusing preschool children to quit their jobs, and would also take action against Einstein Academy Kindergarten for allowing the incident to occur.

"We have worked with the school and the police have been involved. After the police investigation concludes, we will handle the school according to regulations.

The district leaders' viewpoint is that whoever is at fault will be dealt with accordingly, without covering up or condoning, because regardless of severity, the actions of the teachers are anti-educational. For now, the three teachers involved in the video of child abuse in kindergarten have been forced to resign," said Mr. Trong.

According to the leader of Hoang Mai district, Einstein Academy Kindergarten has a full operating license.

Immediately after the incident, the district sent a working group to work with the school and the teachers involved. The school and the teacher admitted their mistakes and apologized to the parents and students.

Dan Tri reported earlier that Ms. Duong Thi Ngoc Quynh (Hoang Mai district, Hanoi) said that on March 23, she sent a petition to the police to denounce Einstein Academy Kindergarten about her 3-year-old son being abused by a teacher while attending school.

According to this parent, her son studies in the Moon Reggio class with homeroom teacher Le Thi Oanh and two other teachers.

From March 10 to March 17, when picking up the child, the family saw that the child was showing signs of panic when talking about school. The child was scared, did not want to go to school and kept saying "I don't go to school because I'm afraid the teacher will beat me". In the evening, the child was in a state of panic and psychological instability.

On March 17, after the grandfather talked and asked, the teachers admitted to beating the child but hoped the parents and family would understand so they could continue teaching the child.

According to this parent, on March 19, she went to the school to meet the school administrator. This administrator said she did not know about the incident and affirmed that she would never allow students to be beaten.

After the family worked with the school and local police got involved, the school provided full camera footage from March 10-17, showing the teacher abusing students.

From the results of the camera extraction, confirming that the parents' reflection was true, the school forced the related teachers to quit and arranged for another teacher to teach the class.

Einstein Academy Kindergarten has 17 teachers and 190 students from 12 months to 5 years old.

Moon Reggio class (3-4 years old) has 22 students, the school assigns 2 teachers and 2 assistants.
