
The exhibition aims to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Da Nang City Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025), the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The exhibition displays 39 works of diverse materials and genres such as: oil painting, lacquer, silk, tempera, acrylic, woodcut graphics, hand-painted paintings, round statues, reliefs... through an artistic perspective from historical and cultural relics, the simple life of coastal people, traditional cultural festivals, images of architectural works, typically the famous bridges connecting the two banks of the Han River of the city...

All are vividly and emotionally recreated, creating a colorful picture, subtly reflecting the 50-year development process and aspirations of the homeland of Da Nang.
The works participating in the exhibition are by 20 painters and sculptors of Da Nang City, from the veteran painters who laid the foundation and contributed to the development of the city's fine arts after 1975 such as: Vu Duong, Duy Ninh, Hoang Dang, Dinh Gia Thang, Nguyen Trong Dung, Tran Thi Cuc, Ho Dinh Nam Kha, Than Trong Dung... to the promising successor generation painters such as: Do Thanh, Phan Thanh Hai, Ngo Thanh Hung, Tran Tam, Nguyen Tien Viet, Pham Anh, Le Ngan Thuy....

According to the leaders of the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, the exhibition is an exchange between generations of visual artists, bringing diverse and unique perspectives, a valuable bridge, creating conditions for artists to meet, exchange and share creative experiences, contributing to promoting the development of local fine arts.
At the same time, it gives visitors a new and profound perspective on Da Nang City through visual arts, affirming the indispensable role of fine arts in the cultural and spiritual life of the people.
