On September 6, Hai Phong City Police said that in recent days, articles with false content have appeared on social networks about four female workers of LG Display Hai Phong Company Limited selling sex and spreading HIV to many people.

The above information attracted the attention of the online community and many comments, causing confusion in public opinion. This also directly affected LG Display Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd. and the female workers.
Immediately after receiving the information, Hai Phong City Police directed professional departments and An Duong District Police (Hai Phong) to verify and review social network account owners posting false information to clarify and handle according to regulations.
Accordingly, Hai Phong City Police summoned and worked with 4 individuals who posted false information, including: D.THN (residing in Hong Thai commune, An Duong district), NTH (residing in Dong Phuong commune, Kien Thuy district), NTL (residing in An Duong town, An Duong district), TTVA (residing in Nghia Xa ward, Le Chan district) of Hai Phong City.
At the police station, the above individuals clearly recognized their wrongdoings, removed the false information and pledged not to repeat the offense.
Hai Phong City Police have issued a decision to administratively sanction the above 4 individuals for providing and sharing false information.
In response to the above incident, Hai Phong City Police advises people to be vigilant and not to post or share false or unverified information. This information will cause confusion among the public and affect the security and order situation in the locality.
