On June 5, in Tam Ky City, the Propaganda Department of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee coordinated with the Naval Region 3 Command and the People's Committee of Hoang Sa District (Da Nang City) to organize an exhibition of documents, images and propaganda about the sea and islands with the theme "Youth with the homeland's sea and islands".
Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the People's Committee of Quang Nam province visited the exhibition.
The above activities aim to propagate and raise awareness among students, youth union members, cadres and people in Quang Nam province about Vietnam's sovereignty over seas and islands; the viewpoints, mottos and solutions to fight to protect the sovereignty over seas and islands of our Party and State today.
The exhibition will take place until June 10 at the Quang Nam Provincial Cultural Center (8 Tran Hung Dao, Tan Thanh Ward, Tam Ky City).
At the exhibition, the organizers introduced 40 display frames with 152 documents and images on 3 topics: History of Vietnam's sovereignty over Hoang Sa archipelago and map of Hoang Sa island district in English and Vietnamese; activities to protect Vietnam's sea and island sovereignty in the current period and Quang Nam - Da Nang youth with their homeland's sea and islands.
In addition to introducing some images, maps, and documents about Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa archipelago and images of offshore fishing activities, there are also images of exploitation and fishing at sea by Quang Nam fishermen.
At this exhibition, the Organizing Committee has selected images from the Naval Region 3 Command, the core force in managing and protecting sovereignty over the strategic and important sea and island areas of the Fatherland, directly the sea area from Quang Binh to Binh Dinh, including Con Co and Ly Son islands, Hoang Sa archipelago...
In addition to introducing some images, maps, documents on Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa archipelago and images of offshore fishing activities, there are also images of Quang Nam fishermen's exploitation and fishing at sea. The exhibition also introduces images of Quang Nam youth's activities on the sea and islands.
