The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a plan to organize an art exhibition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory Day (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) in Hanoi next May.
The exhibition introduces paintings and sculptures by artists and sculptors on the theme of Dien Bien Phu Victory; historical events and people who contributed to the Dien Bien Phu Victory in 1954 and the country's achievements in innovation, thereby arousing patriotism, national pride and determination to build and defend the Fatherland in the new era.

The exhibition is also an opportunity for art lovers to review valuable historical lessons of the nation, promote the patriotism of artists in creating many works on the theme of revolutionary war, and contribute their creative talents on the cultural front.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition to preside over and coordinate with the Vietnam Fine Arts Association to organize the exhibition.
The fine arts exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory Day (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) is scheduled to take place next May at the Center for Appraisal and Exhibition of Fine Arts and Photography (29 Hang Bai, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi); introducing 70 to 90 outstanding works in the genres of painting, graphics, and sculpture.
