Deploying the contents to prepare for organizing the cultural exchange program - connecting Vietnamese

On the morning of October 3, Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Conference and Fair Subcommittee chaired a meeting to deploy contents related to the cultural exchange program - connecting Vietnamese - Korean enterprises "Thai Binh Homecoming Day". Comrade Vu Kim Cu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; leaders of departments, branches, and member units of the Subcommittee attended the meeting.

As part of the series of events of the cultural exchange program - connecting Vietnamese - Korean enterprises "Thai Binh Homecoming Day", there is the 2023 Northern Delta international agricultural fair and the conference to promote investment, trade and tourism of Thai Binh - Korea. This year's fair has the theme "Linking sustainable agricultural value chain development", scheduled to take place from November 30 to December 6 at Thai Binh Square (Hoang Dieu ward, Thai Binh city). The fair has areas to display and introduce OCOP products, typical products of the province, typical agricultural products of provinces and cities in the Northern Delta region; an area to display machinery, equipment, agricultural supplies; a general commercial area; an area to experience Korean culture and cuisine and an area to display ornamental plants.

Leaders of the Provincial Center for Support, Investment Promotion and Development reported the contents at the meeting.

The conference on investment, trade and tourism promotion between Thai Binh and Korea is scheduled to take place on December 2, with the participation of about 300 delegates from the province, the country and internationally. The conference will focus on discussing, exchanging and sharing information on the investment and business environment, potential, strengths and investment cooperation opportunities in the fields of investment, industry, trade, tourism and culture; negotiating towards signing investment cooperation projects, import and export of goods and services of Korean enterprises to Thai Binh and vice versa.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and gave comments on a number of issues related to the organization of conferences and fairs such as location, venue, content of introduction and promotion, selection of businesses and products participating in the fair, traffic arrangement, ensuring security and order, assigning specific tasks to departments, branches and localities, etc.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Conference and Fair Subcommittee affirmed: Conferences and fairs are of great significance in helping the province attract investment, support people and businesses to develop production, trade, and export goods, contributing to the province's socio-economic development in the coming time. Therefore, in order for the conference and fair to be successful and achieve its goals, he requested each department, branch, and member unit to promote their roles, functions, tasks, and responsibilities. The Provincial People's Committee Office and the Provincial Center for Support, Investment Promotion, and Development received the delegates' opinions, completed plans for organizing conferences and fairs; brought delegations to visit and survey a number of industrial parks, tourist attractions, historical and cultural relics, and presented charity gifts at Thai Binh Children's Hospital. The Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Zone Management Board, the Department of Industry and Trade and districts and cities prepare a program of signing large-value investment and trade agreements at the conference. Propaganda work must be diverse, effective, and spread the meaning of the events.

Regarding the 2023 Northern Delta International Agricultural Fair, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Conference and Fair Subcommittee, proposed to supplement the content of activities to attract people and businesses to participate during the event; choose suitable products, in accordance with the purpose and meaning of the fair and ensure environmental sanitation, fire prevention and fighting, and food hygiene and safety.
