With the approval of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, from March 26 to 30, 2025, the working delegation of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Red Cross Society visited and worked with the Hua Phan Provincial Red Cross Society, Lao PDR. This is an important milestone, opening a new chapter in the humanitarian cooperation between the two provinces, at the same time, affirming the solidarity and friendship between the two countries of Vietnam and Laos.
During the working trip, the two sides held many working sessions and exchanged experiences in humanitarian and charity work. The Vinh Phuc Red Cross Society shared effective volunteer models, such as supporting sustainable livelihoods, donating blood, providing community health care and responding to natural disasters. In particular, the delegation participated in many meaningful volunteer activities such as: giving gifts to families in difficult circumstances and supporting livelihoods for people in difficult circumstances in Hua Phan province, Laos. Including giving gifts to 50 families in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 500,000 VND; supporting livelihoods for 5 people, each worth 10 million VND. The total value of the gifts is 75 million VND. These activities not only demonstrate the spirit of mutual love but also further strengthen the solidarity between the people of the two provinces, contributing to strengthening the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
In the coming time, the Vinh Phuc Provincial Red Cross Society and the Hua Phan Provincial Red Cross Society, Lao PDR are committed to continuing to maintain and implement more cooperation programs in the future to join hands to support people in difficult circumstances. The humanitarian journey of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Red Cross Society does not stop at domestic activities but also reaches out, spreading love to international friends. This is a testament to the spirit of solidarity, friendship and joining hands for a compassionate and sustainable community./.
