Supporting training season at Regiment 890

On March 28, 2025, the Military Command of Vinh Long province organized the program "Supporting the training season" and "Comrades' birthday" for soldiers participating in training at Regiment 890 (Loan My commune, Tam Binh district). This is one of a series of activities to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025).

Traditional cakes and cool drinks were made by the Women's Union of the Provincial Military Command in coordination with the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Regiment 890.

New soldiers received cool drinks and cakes at the training ground.

At the Training Support Program, taking advantage of the break time, the Women's Union members of the Provincial Military Command had a chat, cultural exchange and sent cakes and cool drinks to the officers and soldiers at the training ground.

On the same evening, a comrades' birthday program was also held for 28 soldiers whose birthdays were from January to March 2025. The birthday night took place joyfully and warmly with many exchange and cultural programs, helping to strengthen the comradeship and team spirit.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Hia - Deputy Chief of Politics (Provincial Ministry of National Defense) congratulated and presented birthday gifts to soldiers at the program.

28 soldiers lit candles and made wishes in the Comrades' Birthday Program.

In 2025, Regiment 890 received and trained 126 new soldiers. After more than a month of training in a military environment, the new soldiers gradually became bolder, more mature, and strictly followed discipline.

The activity of supporting soldiers aims to create a joyful, exciting atmosphere, encouraging and motivating soldiers to study and train enthusiastically. Thereby, it shows the concern of the Party Committee - Provincial Military Command for soldiers who are participating in 3-month training for new recruits, at the same time propagating and educating soldiers to have a deeper awareness of the training environment in the Army. From there, it encourages positivity, self-awareness, strict compliance with Army discipline, and readiness to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks.
