Through the extraction of the camera in the classroom, the parents discovered that not only TPN, a student of class 1B, Ba Dinh Primary School, Bim Son town (Thanh Hoa) was hit by the teacher, but many other students also had their ears twisted and their heads hit.
Specifically, through the extraction of the camera footage (10 minutes long) in class 1B, Ba Dinh Primary School, Bim Son town (Thanh Hoa) on the afternoon of October 10 provided by the school, parents discovered that teacher VTT not only used her hand to hit TPN, but also 3 other students had their ears twisted, their heads and backs hit during Math class.
Extracting the camera, parents discovered that teacher T beat many students in class.
Mr. T.D.H, father of TPN in Quarter 4, Ba Dinh Ward, Bim Son Town, shared that he was very upset after watching the video. While teaching the students, Ms. T. walked around the classroom with her hands on her hips, lectured, and swung her hands to hit the students on the head, back, and twisted their ears. The students in the class showed signs of stress, anxiety, and fear during class.
This is also a sign of a type of school violence. The family really hopes that the authorities will intervene and handle it strictly so that this situation does not happen again.
Ms. Vo Dao Hoa, Principal of Ba Dinh Primary School, said that this was not the first time Ms. VTT had beaten a student. In the 2023-2024 school year, Ms. VTT also beat a first-grade student, causing a bruise on his arm. But immediately after that, the Parents' Association issued a document with the parents' signatures agreeing to let Ms. T continue teaching until the end of first grade.
“ Ms. T’s actions violated the regulations of teachers, infringed on the psychology and health of students, and affected the honor of teachers. The school’s stance is to handle the matter strictly when there is a conclusion from the authorities, ” Ms. Hoa informed.
Previously, on the afternoon of October 10, during a math class, TPN, a student in class 1B, was hit on the back by teacher T, who twisted her ear and slapped her, leaving a tear in her ear and a bruise on her back. Her family took her to Bim Son General Hospital for examination and asked the school to extract the classroom camera.
Immediately afterwards, the school's leadership representative and Ms. VTT went to the student's house to apologize to TPN and her family. At the same time, TPN was transferred to another class according to the family's wishes. Currently, N's health and mental state are stable and she has returned to school. The school also stopped Ms. VTT from teaching and transferred her to administrative work.
