Donating computer room to students in Cao Bang

Recently, the Vietnam-Russia Arms Club - Vietnamese Students Association in Russia donated a computer room to a disadvantaged school in Bao Toan commune, Bao Lac district, Cao Bang province.

With the permission and guidance of the Vietnamese Party Committee in Russia, the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Youth Union - Vietnamese Student Association in Russia, members of the Vietnam - Russia Arms Club held the inauguration ceremony of the computer room for Coc Chom school, Bao Toan Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.

At the inauguration ceremony, the Club donated the entire 97 million VND fund to students at Coc Chom school with facilities and gifts including: 1 renovated computer room with 7 computers, 8 sets of tables and chairs and 10 gifts for students with excellent achievements.

Representative of Vong Tay Viet Nga presented the IT room to Principal Nguyen Thi Manh, representative of the school.

The above project is carried out to improve the ability to acquire knowledge in the era of constant development of information technology and support the education of children in mountainous areas.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Manh - Principal of Bao Toan Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - was moved to share the difficulties of the school's teachers and expressed her deep gratitude for the help and support of the Vietnam - Russia Arms Club.

The program ended in a warm atmosphere with a cultural exchange. The highlight was the performance of teachers and students with the đàn tính - a familiar Vietnamese traditional musical instrument of the Northwest people.

The Vietnam-Russia Circle was established in 2017 with the aim of gathering and uniting enthusiastic and dynamic international students to participate in volunteer and charitable activities across Russia. From there, it will further strengthen the friendship between the two nations and contribute to bringing the image of the Vietnamese people of mutual love and support closer to international friends.

In recent times, Vong Tay Viet Nga has become the largest student charity organization in Russia with more than 20 organized activities, notably: monthly Blood Donation activities; organizing charity music nights Thuong 2021, Youth Journey 2022; fundraising activities "For Hoang Sa - Truong Sa beloved" and many other meaningful activities attracting nearly 8,000 support from volunteers with a total donation amount up to now of more than 175 million VND.

During the 2022-2024 term, the Club aims to improve modern learning conditions, promote the development of information technology, and support education for children in remote areas.
