On the morning of January 9, the key activity of the “Build Tet 2024” program took place at the Ecopark construction site in Van Giang district, Hung Yen province. At the event, Nhan Dan Newspaper and Coteccons Group presented nearly 1,800 gifts to the workers who are working hard day and night.

Domestically, the macro economy continues to be stable but economic growth is lower than the set target; many businesses are facing difficulties, affecting the lives of workers, of which construction workers are one of the groups that need more attention from society.

The program "Build Tet 2024" starts from December 23, 2023 to the end of January 2024 at construction sites in three regions of the country such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Quang Ngai, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong...

With the spirit of "mutual love and support", actively implementing social security policies, taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, Nhan Dan Newspaper cooperated with Coteccons Group to organize the program "Build Tet 2024", giving nearly 17,000 Tet gifts to workers at construction sites across the country.

He affirmed that this is a meaningful activity to implement Directive No. 26-CT/TW, dated November 23, 2023 of the Secretariat on organizing the Year of the Dragon in 2024, and at the same time continuing the community activities that Nhan Dan Newspaper has implemented in the past year such as: Human Act Prize, giving charity houses to victims of Agent Orange; giving savings books to the poor, policy families; giving scholarships and computers to schools in mountainous areas...

According to Mr. Nguyen Chi Thien, CEO of Coteccons, stemming from Coteccons' culture of gratitude, with the desire to bring a happy Tet to the workers who directly contributed to the success of the project, this is the second year Coteccons has implemented the Tet Construction Program. In addition to gift giving activities, the Organizing Committee also organizes Tet events to bring relaxing moments to workers when Tet holiday is approaching such as haircuts, Tet photo shoots, screening, medical examination and health consultation at the construction site, giving away free tickets or trips back to hometown...
