Awarding ceremony of Ninh Binh Golden Hands Lace Embroidery Contest

On the morning of October 11, the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Ninh Binh Province Golden Hand Embroidery Competition announced the results and awarded prizes to the winning individuals.

The leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade awarded certificates to the Silver Hand award winners.

The contest had 24 contestants from Van Lam embroidery village, Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district and neighboring localities.

Through the preliminary round, 18 contestants were selected to participate in the final round and promoted their creativity and experience to create embroidery products with high aesthetic value.

The jury selected outstanding and typical products to award. As a result, 16 contestants won prizes, including 1 Silver Hand, 4 Bronze Hand and 11 Encouragement prizes, no contestant was recognized as winning the Golden Hand.

Through the competition, the contestants have improved their skills and techniques, which is the motivation to continue to create, innovate, enhance the aesthetics, increase the value of embroidery products, create a wide spread in the community, produce products serving life and make souvenirs and gifts for domestic and foreign tourists.

Thereby creating jobs and stable income for local workers, contributing to the state budget, contributing to the economic restructuring of the locality.
