On the morning of January 10, 824 students from 21 districts and Thu Duc City showed off their technical skills in a contest organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training at Nguyen Van To Secondary School, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City.
The students completed the competition requirements in 60 minutes. In just 60 minutes, the products they created surprised many people, even the judges.
These are a series of spring greeting scenes that students have meticulously and methodically come up with ideas for.
The products are made from a variety of materials, from fresh flowers, conical hats, bamboo to wood and paper, leaving viewers fascinated and amazed.

These are smart homes with a variety of designs, equipment, and materials used.
These are miniature farm models with surprisingly creative uses.
They are also sophisticated, unique fashion designs that look exactly like the talented creations of true designers.
Tran Nguyen Truc Huong - a student of Thanh Da Secondary School (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City), participated in the flower arrangement contest with the work "Spring in the homeland" - shared: "I used two materials associated with the lives of Vietnamese people: conical hats and lotus flowers to create the S-shaped strip of land of our country.
My work brings New Year greetings, wishing everyone and every family in the S-shaped strip of land of Vietnam a happy new spring."

Mr. Nguyen Cao Tin Dung, teacher at Nguyen Huu Canh High School - a member of the contest's jury, commented: "The products the students made surprised us, the examiners.
This year, the students' products were well-finished, of high quality, creative and applied many new technologies. Many products, if we did not say they were made by middle school students, we would think they were made by artisans."
According to Ms. Cao Thi Tu Anh - specialist of the secondary education department, Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the Secondary School Technical Skill Competition this year enters its 12th year.
Students will participate in 16 exams in the content of subjects for students in grades 6, 7, 8, 9 in the general education program. These are subjects such as flower arrangement, home decoration, making paper flowers and fabric flowers, food and nutrition, costume design, smart home, 4.0 agricultural model design...

"For individual exams, each exam district can only have a maximum of 3 candidates; for group exams, a maximum of 3 students per group and a maximum of 6 students per district can participate.
The goal of the contest is to help students practice, improve their skills and knowledge, enhance their understanding of important areas of life; develop their capacity, self-control skills, orient their studies, and orient their careers," said Ms. Tu Anh.
