VHO - The Hue Monuments Conservation Center has just launched a multi-interactive experiential tourism solution at Hai Van Quan relic site. Thereby, it brings visitors a new journey of discovery, combining history and modern technology.
On October 15, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center announced that it has just coordinated with Phygital Labs Joint Stock Company and the Information Technology Center of Thua Thien Hue province to develop and deploy a multi-interactive experiential tourism solution at Hai Van Quan.
Accordingly, the Hai Van Quan relic site has been digitized into a 3D tourist map, creating a cultural discovery journey through stories and check-in missions at 9 special locations. This is a new technological solution to bring visitors interesting experiences when entering a "world" - where culture, history and technology blend.
The 3D digital map recreates the majestic natural panorama of Hai Van Quan peak so that visitors can admire and explore in detail the rich history of the construction through the ages, from the formation process to important events in the history of protecting the territory.
The highlight is the combination of reality and technology, enhancing the interactive experience. Visitors only need to use their smartphones to touch the check-in board with NFC chip at the attractions, thereby immediately accessing information about each area, historical events and cultural values of each point at Hai Van Quan.
After experiencing the check-in journey at 9 attractions by using a smartphone to scan the NFC code, visitors will receive a digital badge - a digital certificate for their journey. This badge is not only a unique memory to record that visitors have officially conquered "Thien Ha De Nhat Hung Quan".
In addition, the 3D digital travel map also helps visitors explore remotely by interacting with 9 important relics of Hai Van Quan anywhere in the world. Each destination is accompanied by vivid historical stories and detailed images, helping users feel like they are actually embarking on a journey to discover the heritage without having to move. According to Phygital Labs representative, after only 20 days of implementation at Hai Van Quan, the multi-interactive tourism solution combining digital technology with cultural heritage has attracted more than 2,000 check-ins and created 200 memorable moments. Not only attracting domestic but also international tourists, this solution helps tourists save and share their experiences on their personal pages and websites. This motivates tourists to explore all 9 locations, while spreading positive stories and inspiration about Vietnamese heritage to the community.
Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, said: The pilot project of the check-in platform and recording the presence of tourists at Hai Van Quan relic site recently deployed by the Center not only focuses on promoting heritage but also expands the potential for digital economic development and cultural industry development through the application of digital technology to tourism.
The Center hopes that the collaboration with Phygital Labs will continue to introduce new technologies and experiences to help visitors enhance their experience when visiting the Complex of Hue Monuments. Thereby, contributing to spreading the cultural and historical values of the land and people of Hue to domestic and international visitors.
The Hai Van Quan relic site has been restored by the People's Committees of Thua Thien Hue Province and Da Nang City with a budget of 42 billion VND from the budgets of the two localities. To date, the project has been completed and opened to visitors since August 2024. Currently, the two localities have also agreed on a number of contents and are building a management and exploitation plan to effectively promote the Hai Van Quan national relic site.
