From March 1, Ho Chi Minh City Police will accept applications for testing, exchanging and reissuing driving licenses in the city at the following locations: 252 Ly Chinh Thang, Ward 9, District 3; 8 Nguyen Anh Thu, Trung My Tay Ward, District 12 and 111 Tan Son Nhi, Tan Son Nhi Ward, Tan Phu District.
In addition to the 3 points for issuing and renewing driver's licenses above, in the near future, to facilitate people in exchanging and reissuing driver's licenses, saving time, travel costs and waiting, PC08 said that Ho Chi Minh City Police will arrange 22 more points at the Police of 17 wards in districts and Thu Duc City, which are carrying out motorbike registration and the police of 5 central communes in Binh Chanh, Can Gio, Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, Nha Be districts (specifically including: Tan Tuc town, Can Thanh town, Cu Chi town, Hoc Mon town).
According to PC08, the City Police will coordinate with the Department of Transport to continue to carry out the work of testing, issuing and managing driving licenses to ensure uninterrupted service to people and organizations when requested. Administrative procedures for issuing and exchanging driving licenses will not change when the transfer is made between the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Public Security.
