Buon Ma Thuot City: Budget revenue reaches over 603 billion VND

In the first 3 months of 2025, the situation of industrial and handicraft production in the city remained stable; the supply of goods was abundant, prices in markets, supermarkets, and commercial centers were stable, meeting market demand, especially during the 2025 Lunar New Year.
Some outstanding results, in the economic field, in the winter-spring crop, the whole city planted more than 1,800 hectares of various crops (reaching 106% of the plan); paid nearly 55 billion VND in compensation and support for site clearance for projects; the city's budget revenue reached 603.5 billion VND, reaching 21.3% of the estimate (up 27.8% over the same period in 2024).

The city has also completed the application for recognition of three communes, including Hoa Xuan, Hoa Phu and Hoa Khanh commune, to meet advanced new rural standards in 2024 and Hoa Thuan commune to meet model new rural standards.

In the cultural and social fields, we have coordinated with agencies and units to organize tasks, contributing to the success of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025; social security work has been fully and promptly implemented in accordance with the law, ensuring policies and regimes for beneficiaries; security and order continue to be maintained.

In addition to the achieved results, the slow progress of construction and adjustment of the city's master plan has affected urban management and investment calling activities in various fields. There are still illegal constructions on agricultural land, illegal construction, unauthorized road openings, and improper land use in some communes and wards.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of Buon Ma Thuot City Party Committee Tu Thai Giang requested Party committees, agencies and units to focus on a number of key tasks: Speed ​​up construction progress, disbursement of capital for projects and works; regularly inspect and resolutely handle illegal and unlicensed construction works.

Urgently complete document digitization; manage and use assets and finances economically and effectively; proactively classify work records and archived documents, ensuring that agencies, organizations, units and localities after the reorganization of commune-level administrative units operate smoothly, effectively and efficiently, avoiding work interruptions.
