Russian President Vladimir Putin speaks during a press conference in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on May 28 during a visit to the Central Asian country. Mr. Putin warned that European members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) are "playing with fire" by suggesting that Ukraine use Western weapons to strike deep into Russian territory, which he said could cause a global conflict. The Russian leader said that NATO members in Europe "should be aware of what they are doing", because they are small in size and have very dense populations. According to him, this is a factor that these countries should take into account before discussing a deep attack into Russian territory. (Source: Sputnik)
