"Party members go first" in Duc Ninh

Driving force for development

According to Comrade Hoang Duc Anh, Secretary of the Duc Ninh Commune Party Committee, in the process of building advanced new rural areas, Party members have taken the lead in many fields, helping the locality develop comprehensively. Many comrades have actively transformed the economic structure, applied science and technology to production, created stable income and spread effective models to the community.

A typical example is comrade Le Van Khanh, Secretary of Linh village Party cell, Head of the village tea production cooperative, who boldly converted ineffective fields to grow tea according to Vietgap standards. He was also the pioneer in investing in installing an irrigation system for the entire 1.5 hectares of tea, thanks to which the tea always grows well and has high productivity. Mr. Khanh actively promoted the establishment of a Vietgap tea production cooperative in the village consisting of 15 members with a total area of ​​11.2 hectares of tea, promoting the development of local commodity production.

Mr. Khanh shared that growing tea according to Vietgap standards helps protect farmers' health and increase economic efficiency because clean tea is easier to sell and has a higher price than traditional farming. Members actively share and support each other in terms of techniques and markets, supervise each other, and join hands to build a clean tea brand. Members of the cooperative all have high incomes from growing tea. His family alone earns over 200 million VND/year from growing tea. In addition to growing tea, villagers have also developed acacia cultivation with an area of ​​over 150 hectares, thereby helping them increase their income and have the conditions to contribute to building infrastructure and institutions in rural areas.

With his youth, dynamism, daring to think and act, Party member Ha Van Tung, Gao Dinh village, has successfully built a comprehensive economic model with a children's toy store, veterinary services, free-range pig and chicken farming, earning over 200 million VND/year. Mr. Tung also actively shares experiences and guides veterinary techniques for many households in the village and commune to develop livestock farming to bring high economic efficiency.

Mr. Khanh and Mr. Tung are just some of dozens of party members in Duc Ninh commune who have developed the economy well. In addition to economic development, party members in Duc Ninh also actively participate in and mobilize people to respond to emulation movements, join hands to build advanced new rural areas, maintain security and order, and protect the environment. On weekends, cadres and party members often join people to clean up the environment, plant trees, and create a clean and beautiful landscape for the countryside. Thanks to that, Duc Ninh commune has completed 19/19 criteria for building advanced new rural areas, the average income per capita reached 51.5 million VND/year, and the poverty rate decreased to 7.3%.

Pioneer to create consensus

Duc Ninh Commune Party Committee has 24 Party cells (17 village Party cells, 1 cooperative Party cell, 1 medical Party cell, 1 commune military Party cell, 1 commune police Party cell and 3 school Party cells) with 424 Party members. Party members have played a good role as a bridge to bring the Party's resolutions to the people. At the same time, they have actively propagated and mobilized to create high consensus among the people, successfully carrying out the local political tasks.

A typical example is the implementation of the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project. During the implementation process, site clearance is a key task, requiring high consensus from the people. The whole commune has 40 households and organizations affected by the project. The pioneering role of the Party members plays a decisive role in creating consensus and promoting the progress of project implementation.

Comrade Hoang Ngoc Kim, Secretary of Lang Dao Village Party Cell, Duc Ninh Commune, shared: Implementing the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project, the village has more than 30 households, of which 10 households have to relocate their houses to the resettlement area. To speed up the site clearance, the village Party Cell has assigned each Party member to be in charge, directly visiting each household to listen to their thoughts and aspirations, answer questions, and encourage and motivate people to cooperate with the Party Committee and authorities to resolve arising problems.

In particular, the pioneering and exemplary spirit of party members has been clearly promoted, typically the family of party members Luong Duc Thao and Hoang Cao Dang has promptly handed over the site to the construction unit. Thanks to that, it has created a spreading force for other households to comply with the general policy, promptly relocate their houses to new places, and hand over the site according to the proposed plan. Up to now, all households have agreed to receive compensation and hand over the site to the construction unit to speed up the project implementation progress.

Comrade Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoang Duc Anh commune said: In 2024, the results of the assessment of the quality of party members of the entire Party Committee of the commune showed that over 85.2% of party members completed their tasks well or better, 13.8% of party members completed their tasks and only 1% of party members did not complete their tasks. In the coming time, to further promote the role of "party members going first", the Party Committee of Duc Ninh commune will focus on political and ideological education, raising awareness for party members. At the same time, organize reviews and evaluate the exemplary role of party members, promptly commend exemplary individuals to create a spreading effect, constantly strengthening people's trust in the leadership of the Party.
