On the morning of August 16, the Northern Power Corporation coordinated with Thai Binh Power Company to organize the launching ceremony of the Tra Linh 110kV transformer station project in Thai Thuy district. Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Northern Power Corporation, Thai Binh Power Company and representatives of units and localities.

The Tra Linh 110kV power line and transformer station project in Thai Thuy district has an investment of 116.8 billion VND with a scale of building a new 3.2km 110kV overhead power line, double circuit, AC400 conductor, connecting on a 110kV power line circuit from the Thai Thuy 220kV transformer station to the Thai Hung 110kV transformer station to supply power to the Tra Linh 110kV transformer station. The Tra Linh transformer station has a scale of 2 63MVA transformers, along with the synchronous installation of 22kV medium voltage cabinet equipment, equipped with a metering collection system, a camera monitoring and remote control system, ensuring the station operates under an unmanned mechanism.

The construction of the 110kV Tra Linh transformer station will improve the quality of electricity and the reliability of power supply to the Lien Ha Thai industrial, urban and service zones and Thai Thuy district, creating favorable conditions for investment environments for businesses as well as the overall socio-economic development of the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the contributions of the electricity sector in recent years to the socio-economic development of Thai Binh province. In implementing the construction of the 110kV Tra Linh transformer station, he requested departments, branches and localities to create all favorable conditions for the construction unit to ensure the progress of the project and put it into operation soon to meet the goal of providing safe, stable and reliable electricity for Thai Thuy district, especially supplying electricity for production of enterprises investing in the Lien Ha Thai industrial, urban and service zones. For the construction unit, it is necessary to focus highly on human resources and intelligence in directing, operating and implementing in accordance with the approved design process, ensuring the quality, aesthetics and construction progress of the 110kV Tra Linh transformer station according to the set plan.
