According to the leaders of Hau Giang province, the province currently has 43 investment projects behind schedule, mainly due to land acquisition problems. The province will focus on resolving these problems this year, thereby accelerating progress, unlocking investment resources, and contributing about VND1,900 billion to the total social investment capital this year .

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long emphasized that in 2025, the whole country will do many things at the same time, work will not wait for each other, we will have to "run and queue at the same time". In particular, continuing to arrange the apparatus, whether we want it or not, will affect the general psychology.

Regarding the growth plan and scenario of the two provinces, the Deputy Prime Minister requested to continue to improve. The scenario is not just numbers and bullet points, it needs to be clear about the basis for the scenario, what to rely on, and what is available.

“The numbers, promises, and list of projects in the report seem okay, but they still need to be specific, because this is a business story, talking to the people and society, not simply our wishes. Therefore, there needs to be a basis, even though the reported figures seem reassuring,” the Deputy Prime Minister noted.

In addition to relying on agricultural strengths, the Deputy Prime Minister said that with a growth rate of 8% or 10%, it is necessary to clearly analyze what resources are needed for society, how much and where to get them, how much is the State's share, how much is the local revenue increase, what the province can take care of, what the Central Government takes care of. In particular, resources from projects that are behind schedule are still very large, creating room for the following years, but localities have not yet shown their full determination to do so.

"I went to meet voters in Phu Quoc and saw that land was stuck everywhere, a series of projects were stuck there. There needs to be a focus group to carefully study this issue to resolve it," the Deputy Prime Minister cited.

Regarding local recommendations, the Deputy Prime Minister requested ministries and branches to update and synthesize to resolve them.
