Tiny 11 shrinks Windows 11 24H2, from 30 GB to less than 4 GB

Developed by NTDEV, Tiny 11 reduces the installation size of Windows 11 24H2 from nearly 30 GB to just 3.54 GB thanks to LZX compression technology. This is much lower than the 20 GB to 30 GB disk space required for any standard Windows 11 installation.

Due to the installation size of up to nearly 30 GB, many people have to wait nearly 2 hours to complete the installation process, especially on older devices. Therefore, the Tiny 11 solution is considered very useful.

To achieve this compact size, Tiny 11 has removed unnecessary libraries, applications and services, making the operating system run more lightly, even on older hardware.

NTDEV also introduced a Windows 11 installation ISO version that is only 100MB in size by reducing the operating system to text mode and removing the graphical user interface (GUI). After installation, the Windows 11 folders only take up about 1.91GB, a very small number compared to the requirements of standard installations.

While Tiny 11 is a great solution for those who want to run Windows 11 on older hardware, it’s not recommended for newer PCs. It lacks many important Windows 11 features, including the ability to receive updates directly from Microsoft, which can leave your system vulnerable to malware. Still, Tiny 11 is a solid option for those who want a stripped-down version of Windows 11 without unnecessary Microsoft services.
