This morning (November 11), the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly began a question-and-answer session that lasted nearly 2 days.
The National Assembly's questioning session focused on three groups of issues in the fields of banking, health, and information and communications. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man delivered opening and closing remarks, and also chaired the questioning session for each field.

FLC Faros has a new 9X boss
The Board of Directors of FLC Faros Construction Joint Stock Company (ROS) has just decided to appoint Mr. Trinh Quoc Thi as Deputy General Director of the company from November 8, 2024.
Information from ROS said that Mr. Thi (born in 1990) was appointed as deputy general director of FLC Stone Investment and Minerals JSC in October this year.

Regarding the personnel changes at FLC Faros, Mr. Mai Tien Dung (born in 1976) has become the new general director of this company since September 25.
Previously, the position of general director of FLC Faros had not been filled since April 2022. After Ms. Huong Tran Kieu Dung - the former chairwoman of this company - was arrested, the company's personnel changed dramatically.
Ms. Nguyen Binh Phuong immediately resigned from the position of General Director and was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors from April 2022. In November 2022, Ms. Phuong again resigned from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and was replaced by Mr. Le Tien Dung.

On November 10, the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of Nghe An province issued Official Dispatch No. 10 to the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue of coastal districts and towns; relevant departments, branches and units to proactively respond to storm Toraji.
Accordingly, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense requested the Steering Committees for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue of coastal districts, cities and towns; relevant departments, branches and agencies to closely monitor the storm's developments.
At the same time, strictly manage means of transport going out to sea; organize the counting of ships and boats; notify owners of means of transport and captains of ships and boats operating at sea of the location, direction of movement and developments of the storm so that they can proactively avoid, escape or not move into dangerous areas; prepare forces and means for rescue when required.
Ben Thuy Coastal Information Station and mass media agencies in Nghe An province have increased measures to inform authorities at all levels, owners of vehicles operating at sea and people about the storm's developments so that they can proactively prevent and respond.
As one of the 28 coastal provinces of the country, Nghe An has more than 82km of coastline, more than 2,830 fishing boats and ships of fishermen in 5 coastal districts and towns including Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Nghi Loc districts and 2 towns of Hoang Mai and Cua Lo.
Since the afternoon of November 10, all vehicles operating at sea have received notice of the location and direction of storm Toraji.

According to the report of the Department of Planning and Investment of Hai Duong province , the total public investment plan of Hai Duong in 2024 is 9,459.8 billion VND. By October 31, 2024, the province had disbursed 3,288 billion VND, reaching 34.8% of the total capital payment plan.
Of which, the disbursed state budget capital was VND 3,284.3 billion, reaching 34.8% of the total payment capital and 47.4% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister (VND 6,931.7 billion).
The provincial-level state budget capital has disbursed VND1,542.4 billion, reaching 31.5%. The district- and commune-level state budget capital has disbursed VND1,741.9 billion, reaching 38.4%. It is estimated that about VND376.5 billion cannot be disbursed, of which the targeted additional provincial-level local budget capital is about VND185 billion.
At the meeting of the working group to direct the acceleration of investment project implementation and discuss solutions to accelerate the disbursement of public investment projects, Mr. Le Ngoc Chau, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, criticized the localities with slow project implementation progress and very low capital disbursement rates, such as Thanh Ha, Thanh Mien, and Tu Ky districts.
At the same time, investors and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities are required to continue reviewing and updating the workloads that can be disbursed from now until December 31, 2024, to increase the disbursement rate of capital in 2024.
