Pig price forecast tomorrow, March 28, 2025 will remain stable or decrease slightly
Forecast of live pig price on March 28, 2025, a fairly stable market but with a potential for a slight decrease. Currently, the live pig price in the North Central provinces such as Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh is at 68,000 VND/kg, unchanged, while Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue reached 70,000 VND/kg, also unchanged, consistent with the forecast of the North and the Central - Central Highlands fluctuating around 68,000 - 74,000 VND/kg.
In the South Central and Central Highlands, prices are higher, with Quang Nam, Khanh Hoa at 71,000 VND/kg, Quang Ngai at 72,000 VND/kg, Lam Dong, Binh Thuan at 75,000 VND/kg, all unchanged, but Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, Ninh Thuan decreased by 1,000 VND/kg to 71,000 VND/kg and 74,000 VND/kg respectively, showing downward pressure on prices in some areas.
The forecast for live hog prices on March 28, 2025 is expected to remain stable or decrease slightly due to excess supply and slow purchasing power, with the North maintaining 68,000 - 69,000 VND/kg, the Central Highlands - Central region 70,000 - 74,000 VND/kg, and the South 74,000 - 78,000 VND/kg. Compared to the price on March 27, these forecasts are quite close to reality, especially in the Central Highlands - Central region, where current prices are within the forecast range. However, the decrease of 1,000 VND/kg in Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, and Ninh Thuan could be an early signal for the slight downward trend mentioned in the forecast, while other regions remain stable, reflecting that supply and demand have not changed significantly by the end of March 2025.
