Coffee price forecast for tomorrow, March 31, 2025, will increase slightly
Coffee prices on March 31, 2025 are expected to have a chance to recover if the drought in Brazil continues. Currently, the Central Highlands region of Vietnam, especially key coffee growing districts such as Cu M'gar (Dak Lak) and Dak Mil (Dak Nong), are facing great challenges due to lack of irrigation water. Many farmers have to buy water or temporarily stop farming because their wells and ponds are dry.
Coffee prices in the Central Highlands today (March 30) decreased slightly, reflecting the temporary stability of the world market. However, in the context of limited supply and high export demand, coffee prices tomorrow are likely to increase again. Data from the General Department of Customs shows that in the first 3 months of 2025, Vietnam exported more than 406,000 tons of coffee, earning about 2.3 billion USD, an increase of more than 30% in value compared to the same period in 2024. Although output has not increased, high average selling prices have helped the coffee industry maintain stability, especially when demand from major markets such as the EU, the US, Japan and South Korea remains stable.
Overall, coffee prices on March 31, 2025 may increase slightly if factors such as drought and export demand continue to have a positive impact.
