According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Google data recorded that the number of international searches for Vietnam tourist accommodation from the end of November 2024 to the end of January 2025 increased by about 15-30% compared to the same period last year. Notably, in the first half of February this year, the number of international searches continued to increase by 30-45%.
The most searched market for Vietnam tourism is the US, followed by Australia and India. However, according to the assessment, Australia and India are potential markets with huge room for growth.
There are also other key markets such as: Japan, Korea, Singapore, UK, Canada. The most searched destinations in Vietnam by international visitors are Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Phu Quoc...

According to some travel agencies, this is good news for Vietnamese tourism after a spectacular breakthrough in 2024.
"We focus on green, environmentally friendly tourism. Most international visitors, especially American visitors to Vietnam, also choose green experiences, so this year, investment and equipment of tourism products are all linked to environmental benefits," said Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, owner of a tourism service facility in Ho Tram (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province).
In January 2025, Vietnam welcomed nearly 2.1 million international visitors, an increase of 18.5% over the previous month and an increase of 36.9% over the same period in 2024. This is a new record for the tourism industry, surpassing the figure of nearly 2 million international visitors in January 2020.

From March 1, visa exemption for visitors from Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland
Recently, the Government issued Resolution No. 11 on visa exemption under the tourism stimulus program for citizens of Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland from March 1 to December 31, 2025.
This policy is expected to continue to attract international visitors from three European markets to Vietnam this year.
