Provincial leaders met with delegates of Uncle Ho's Good Children

(Baoquangngai.vn) - At the meeting with delegates of Uncle Ho's Good Children of Quang Ngai province in 2025, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Dang Ngoc Huy encouraged the children to always dream, nurture great ambitions, strive in studying and training to become useful citizens for society.

On the afternoon of March 29, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation Dang Ngoc Huy met with delegates of Uncle Ho's Good Children of Quang Ngai province in 2025. Also attending the meeting were Permanent Vice Chairman in charge of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyen Xuan Men; Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Duc Tho; and representatives of more than 200 outstanding children who are delegates of Uncle Ho's Good Children of Quang Ngai province in 2025.

Quang Ngai province currently has 333 teams with more than 231,000 team members and children. In the period of 2020 - 2025, the team work and youth movement in the whole province achieved many outstanding results. Many good and meaningful models were deployed and replicated. The whole province has established 1,200 new clubs, teams and groups to help each other in studying, promoting the movement "Friends progress together"; more than 1,500 models, experiential activities, creativity, and skill training were established; more than 1,600 youth projects at all levels were implemented.

The provincial Youth Unions and Teams have also proactively grasped the situation, supporting nearly 2.2 billion VND for more than 7,000 disadvantaged children, helping them stabilize their psychology, strive to improve their lives and continue going to school. At the same time, the provincial Youth Unions and Teams have also implemented many activities to promote children's right to participate in urgent issues; deploy soft skills training models; skills to prevent and combat child abuse. In 2025, 200 outstanding children were awarded certificates and honored as Uncle Ho's Good Children of Quang Ngai province by the Provincial Youth Union, period 2020 - 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Dang Ngoc Huy congratulated, commended and praised the outstanding achievements that the delegates of Uncle Ho's Good Children have achieved. Many of them are poor students, with difficult circumstances, but have persevered and made efforts to overcome difficulties to achieve excellent results in studying and training; not only studying well but also winning high prizes in science and technology innovation competitions. Many of them are also typical, dynamic faces, actively participating in the work of the Young Pioneers with beautiful, meaningful and highly influential deeds and actions that have been commended and rewarded at all levels. With such efforts, they deserve to be Uncle Ho's Good Children, the most beautiful flowers in the flower garden of "Thousands of Good Deeds" of children in the whole province.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Dang Ngoc Huy suggested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments, branches, and organizations, especially the Provincial Youth Union and the Youth Union Councils at all levels, need to create a favorable environment, encouraging children to study, play, practice and actively participate in social activities.

Every family, school, teacher and youth union cadre must make more efforts to fulfill their noble responsibilities, contributing together with the entire Party, the entire people and the entire society to actively care for and nurture the future generations of the country; focusing on educating children about revolutionary ideals, ethics and lifestyle; preventing and repelling child abuse and social evils among adolescents.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Dang Ngoc Huy conveyed his great faith and expectations to the delegates of Uncle Ho's Good Children. He hoped that they would continue to strive to study, practice, and make more efforts to implement Uncle Ho's 5 teachings, and be a shining example in the activities and emulation movements of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team. At the same time, he hoped that they would continue to inherit and promote the revolutionary tradition, contributing to building their homeland Quang Ngai to become increasingly prosperous.
